Assistance for Medical Workers in Dubno and the District

In March-April 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic reached our region, there was a need to assist medical institutions in Dubno and the district. The fundraising effort began in response to an urgent issue: the lack of adequate personal protective equipment for medical workers. Thanks to the efforts of the organization’s members and dedicated volunteers, funds were not only collected but also used to source and reserve necessary supplies from wholesale warehouses. The fundraising campaign started in March 2020 and lasted for a month, during the peak shortage of personal protective equipment.

Thanks to the initiative of the Dubno Community Foundation “DOBROBUT,” 80,288 UAH was raised from private donors and benefactors. These funds were used to assist several medical institutions in purchasing personal protective equipment, specifically: KNP “Dubno City Hospital”

It is gratifying that the work and efforts of the Dubno Community Foundation “DOBROBUT” received support from Dubno residents and were recognized within the nomination: COVID-19: NATIONAL MAP OF CHARITABLE INITIATIVES, conducted by the Ukrainian Charitable Forum.
