Dubno Community Foundation Gains First International Experience

Between August and October 2020, the Dubno Community Foundation “Dobrobut,” in partnership with the Polish organization The Sts. Cyril and Methodius Foundation (Jarosław, Poland), implemented the cultural and educational project “Nature and Culture” in Dubno with financial support from the Polish-Ukrainian Youth Exchange Council.

The project aimed to facilitate an exchange of knowledge between Ukrainian and Polish youth regarding the cultural heritage of the regions involved (Rivne region in Ukraine and Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland).

During the project, photographs and video segments were created in the cities of Dubno, Ostroh, Rivne, and Mlyniv to develop promotional and informational materials on Rivne region’s cultural heritage, available in both languages.

The next phase of the project, which took place in October, involved interactive engagement of youth from both countries via online communication to explore and promote their cultural heritage.

Students of Dubno Pedagogical College actively participated in the project, and for their needs, relevant equipment (a digital video camera and four tablets) was provided.

We hope this project will continue in the future and mark the beginning of international activities for the Dubno Community Foundation “Dobrobut.”
