The Dobrobut Community Foundation Establishes Partnership with the U.S. Peace Corps in Ukraine
On February 27, an interview meeting took place between representatives of the Dobrobut Dubno Community Foundation and Roman Oleksenko, head of the “Community Development” program of the U.S. Peace Corps in Ukraine. During the meeting, key aspects of potential future cooperation were discussed, along with expectations and requirements for a prospective volunteer.

Several areas of cooperation were identified, including the institutional development of the Dobrobut Dubno Community Foundation, writing grant proposals for sustainable community development, and fostering youth and social capital. Another important aspect of the American volunteer’s work could be the development of partnerships and cooperation with various international donors and grant-making organizations.
Each year, the number of Peace Corps volunteers in Ukraine decreases, making the competition to host an American volunteer very high. The city of Dubno is a strong candidate in this selection process and has both the potential and prerequisites to continue its existing successes in collaboration with the U.S. Peace Corps in Ukraine for the sustainable development of the community.
